The Youth Ministry program at Our Lady of Sorrows helps young people in middle and high school enter into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for them to lead, grow, and serve as they become involved in parish life, both spiritually and socially.

The Youth Ministry program has an active Youth Commission (the parish’s high school youth group; see calendar below) that serves the high school students of our parish, and a Peer Ministry program (confirmed high school teens learn and grow as facilitators for the parish's Middle School and Confirmation Faith Formation programs).  Contact Monica LaFond to learn more about the Youth Commission and Peer Ministry.   
 

Meeting Schedule

The Youth Commission is OLOS’  high school youth group.  All high school students are welcome and encouraged to attend! Meetings are held from 7-8:30 pm on the dates listed below.

Middle School students are invited to enjoy music, play games, and eat free pizza with their friends at the Middle School Socials being offered from 7-9:00 pm in O'Connell Hall on the following Friday evenings:

October 27 - Halloween Party
November 17 - Ice Cream Party
December 15 - Christmas Party
January 12 - Pajama Party
February 9 - Cookie Decorating Party
March 15 - St. Patrick's Day Party
April 26 - Dance Party 

Everyone in grade 6-8 is invited, and attendees are welcome to bring friends from outside OLOS. Pre-registration is not required, but a parent/guardian must complete a Social Night Agreement for each attendee.
